~Heated by our passion for each other & for life
~Cooled by the freshness of our happiness & laughter
~Fed by our openness to what can grow when we cultivate goodness in our lives
~ And conserved by continual appreciation & gratitude for our good fortune.

When Jesus forbade divorce
was he talking about marriage between humans
or was it about our marriage to God?
Is remembering God about our mind, blazing with light
or is it about the pulsation of life, temporarily speaking through our flesh?
Does my heart beat in my chest
or does it beat like angelic wings, opening wide, softening the edges of my world?

I've seen the ravages of age
weaken bodies and scatter minds
So Now
Time Is Precious
Time Is Precious
And I have to laugh at the ticking sound
Barefeet Dancing my own rhythm in the grass.
These days I write as though
it were my last act of love
scribbled
in the rapture of release.
